Our Stance on AI
At Pixton, we're committed to leveraging technology to enhance the educational experience for both teachers and students. We believe in the responsible and thoughtful use of artificial intelligence (AI). Our guiding principle is that AI should empower students to strengthen and build upon the skills they have already mastered, ensuring that technology serves as a supportive tool in the learning process.
Pixton follows a Responsible AI Framework grounded in fairness, transparency, accountability, and child safety. Oversight of AI systems is led by the Privacy Officer and Product Owner, ensuring all AI features undergo risk assessment, bias testing, and post-release review.

Activities, Writing Prompts, Vocab Words — Now aligned to popular reading programs, and curriculum standards!
When a teacher wants to create a new activity for students, they have the option to enter a topic. The Activity Maker then uses AI, referencing the chosen reading program or curriculum standards, to either draft an activity or suggest 3 activity ideas. Activities can be assigned to one or more classrooms, and include a title, description, student instructions, writing prompts, vocabulary, and a due date — all of which are editable. Related resources are also listed, including webinars, lesson ideas, content packs, story starters, printables, and differentiation strategies. The use of AI saves time and enables educators to focus more on student engagement and learning outcomes.

Magic Search
What is Magic Search?
When you or your students enter a word or description, AI lends a hand by suggesting possible keywords. We then connect those suggestions to the closest matches in our own library, helping surface relevant content. Since our system doesn’t cover every term, results may not always be exact, although we're continually working to make improvements.
Is it safe?
User input is used only briefly in this process and is never stored or used to train AI models. We've also included safety measures that negate inappropriate inputs.
