Q. Who owns the comics and other content my students create in Pixton?
A: Schools, educators, and students retain ownership of all user-generated content created in Pixton, such as original storylines and text. Pixton does not claim ownership of student work; we simply provide the tools needed to create it.
Q. Why can't I access my class?
A. You may have upgraded to a subscription option which is just for teachers. Please click here for more information.
Q. How do I upgrade to get full access?
A. You can upgrade from within your account by opening your account settings and clicking Explore Plans. Please click here for more information.
Q. Can I sign up for Pixton using just an email and password?
A. You must sign up to Pixton using Single Sign On (SSO). You can choose to use Google, Microsoft or Clever. All of these methods use OAuth2.0, the industry-standard protocol for authorization. Please click here for more information.
Q. I'm a student, how do I join my teacher's class?
A. You'll need a link from your teacher, then you'll use either your email address or a Pixton-generated username. Please click here for step-by-step instructions.
Q. I'm a teacher, how do I activate my free trial?
A. There is a maximum of one Starter Plan per Teacher. Unfortunately this offer is not available for accounts that have had a subscription in the past. If you have not used a Starter Plan previously, please contact us and we'll help you out!
