One day in class...

I'm Tired of your class!

GO to time-out. NOW!

Time Out

I really am tired of this class... If I get mad, I'll only get another time out... and what's the punishment there?

Minutes later... Back in his seat.

You're so boring!

fail. Try again...

One day in class...

I'm Tired of your class!

Go get the paddle. now.

Go get the paddle. now.

I really am tired of this class... but If I get mad, I'll get spanked... that was no fun.

Minutes later... Back in his seat.

I don't know what you did but my son has become so well behaved. Thank You!

There are better ways of disciplining a child than physical violence. You're controling them by fear, rather than teaching them how to be good. A child that is bored in school isn't necessarily 'bad', either. Gifted children get bored easily in classes that are below their intellectual level. A child with developmental disorders may 'act out' as well.
