I don't get why so many people rated this funny. It's not funny how many people die in a day.

Some dumb people get a kick out of ebola , teasing and saying they will get ebola or can give ebola...there are people like that , it's sad.

The Ebola media coverage is scary, however, if they spent as much time showing people getting struck by lightning, then we'd probably freak out more over that. The news has a way of doing that to people...

SO TRUE!
My Mom is making me and my family have Vitamin C every other day. It healed a man who had swine flu a couple years back. It is said (by secret sources) that Vitamin C can help Ebola!
Stay Healthy and safe everyone!

I can't believe how quickly we forget the AIDS epidemic. I'm not saying we should panic but c'mon. Really? Did you SEE Outbreak? Have you watched someone you love take their last breath? BE afraid. Be VERY afraid.

fsmart

no body is forgetting about AIDS. upwards of 1 million people in the US and 30 million globally are currently infected with AIDS. It is true however, the current outbreak of Ebola is much more pressing right now than AIDS though the personal risk associated with AIDS is much higher for most westerners than Ebola.

Wow, it really puts it in perspective that ebola isn't as bad as they say it is huh?

Yet Ebola is way more common and serious

fsmart

I am not sure what you mean by this. By any measure except media coverage Ebola is less common.

People worry about Ebola, but then there are other instances and cases. Shouldn't people worry more about heart diseases or cancer?

imgayandproud

imgayandproud 5 yrs ago from United States

ebola is incredibly contagious, heart disease and cancer arent

starlite

Yes, I have been doing a charity project researching on Ebola. Turns out, we don't have to be scared! It's like once in a blue moon that someone will actually get it.
