Pixton Activity: Quickstart 2 Comic Scavenger Hunt

Featured Layouts

  • Comic Strip

Intro

Today we're going to play a scavenger hunt with comics. Your job is to make a comic with 3 panels (squares), either by yourself or in a group, and hide a shoe somewhere in the comic.

When everyone's comics are finished, you'll take turns to share them with the class and together try to find the hidden shoe in each one.

Instructions

  1. Create a comic strip with 3 panels.
  2. The comic can be about anything you like.
  3. It must include at least 2 characters.
  4. Each panel should include props, in addition to a background. The more props you add, the harder it will be to find the shoe. Props are things like rocks, chairs, or balls. Everything but people or characters.
  5. Type "shoe" into the props search bar to find the shoe circled below, and hide it in your comic.
  6. Also add at least one speech bubble. Your comic has to contain 10 or more words in total.

Hint – use the search bar to find just the right items for your comic.

Instructions

  1. Create a three-panel comic strip showing 1-3 things you’d like to do at some point in your life, aka a "bucket list."

  2. Use the search bar to find a background to start your comic.

  3. Add characters and speech bubbles to complete the comic. There must be at least one character and 15 words in total.

If your search term doesn’t return results, try other similar keywords or synonyms.
