This is my new favorite of yours! There should be a comic book of animations that are all good lessons like this and it can be a Pixton version of Aesop's Fables

Oh my gosh, this animation is so cool! I've been away from Pixton for far too long...

Georgy Girl

Georgy Girl 2 yrs ago from Canada

I'll second that! Far too long. :) I must admit I do love doing the animations but it is definitely a learning curve.

mgmize

mgmize 3 yrs ago from United States

Awesome! How did you make it last longer than two seconds and have objects disappear and reappear? That hasn't been working for me.

Georgy Girl

Georgy Girl 3 yrs ago from Canada

Keep at it because your cartoon length and number of objects to animate increase once you have made and published a few comics at the lowest level. This is so new animators don't get over-whelmed before they learn how to handle it. As far as objects disappearing... each object/person/ effect that is animated needs its own Band then at any point you can choose to Hide it. I use this when I want to change the perspective of a certain thing or character. For example... in this comic https://www.pixton.com/ca/comic/git7tq0z
I used four different pig props on four separate Bands in order to change its direction. I simply Hide one of the pigs and Unhide the next pig in the same frame number. Here is one that you can remix and mess around with to see how it works. Duplicate the panels you experiment with then you can easily go back to the original to check it.

Ok, thank you! I just made a copy to remix. I guess that's why my animation time went from one second to two seconds recently.

I usually go by the number of Frames you have. You should have 24 to start with. Also, you can slow the whole thing down with the frames per second bar and this way, use every frame for a different position and Pixton will fill in between moves.

Wow...I really enjoyed this GG! And, man that guy must need to drink a lot of water eh! That sweat! XD And I loved how he did that power nap for a split second and got up again! Classy! :)

Georgy Girl

Georgy Girl 3 yrs ago from Canada

Ha ha, thanks, Chase. I was actually editing it as you were writing this as I noticed the guy had far too much energy in the final panel. ( Too fast.) This sometimes happens in animation, it ends up faster than one intends. :)
