I need help studying. What is photosynthesis?
Photosynthesis is the necessary life process that transforms light energy into chemical energy.
Leaves have little holes on their undersides that absorb CO2. They are called stomata. O2 also exits the plant this way.
Water enters the plant through the roots. The roots soak up the water in the soil.
Sunlight enters the plant when the chlorphyll (a chemical in chloroplast) absorbs or traps the light energy.
6CO2 + 6H2O+ sun = C6H1206 + 602
The products of photosynthesis are 6 glucose molecules and six O2 molecules.
Thanks! I really understand it now! I've got to get to class. Wish me good luck!
Alright class. Get started on your quiz!
The next day...
I hope I aced the quiz!
