Macbeth

When shall we three meet again? In thunder lightning or in rain?

where the place?

upon the heath.

When the hurly-burly's done! when the battle's lost and won!

that will be ere the set of sun.

I come, Greymalkin.

Fair is foul, and foul is fair Hover through the fog and filthy air

Paddlock calls

anon

A giant of fury and courage, his sword arm whirling and beating like a windmill as he fought for his king.

Macbeth kills the thane of cawdor

so tremendously did he fight that he made killing almost holy, and they say his blade smoked with traitors' blood.

A solder from the battlefield, came stumbling into the royal camp to tell the king of macbeth's mighty deeds.

he had come face to face with the worst of the king's ememies

and, with one blow had unseamed him from the nave to the chops, and fixed his head upon our battlements

while he stood wondering how he might justly reward such service, news came of yet another victory

the treacherous thane of cawdor has been captured!

sigh

right away sir!

go pronounce his death, and with his former title greet macbeth... what he hath lost, noble macbeth hath won.

the king sent two messengers to greet the great general with his new title.

but even before they set out, other messengers were on their way to meet macbeth... messengers whose purpose was as dark as the king's was bright: the three old women of the storm.

All Hail macbeth, hail to thee, thane of glamis!

all hail macbeth, hail to thee, thane of cawdor!

all hail macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter!

lesser than macbeth and greater.

not so happy, yet much happier.

thou shalt get kings, though thou be none. so all hail, macbeth and banquo.

stay, you imperfect speakers. tell me more!

they met me in the day of sucess, they have more in them than mortal knowledge. these weird sisters saluted me and refered to me to the coming on of time with "hail king that shalt be."

my dearest love, duncan comes here tonight.

great glamis, worthy cawdor, greater than both my the all hail here after!

we will speak further.

you shalt put tonights buisiness into my disbatch.

whoo whoo

i go, and it is done. the bell invites me. hear it not, duncan, for it is knell that summons the to heaven or to hell.

why did you bring the daggers from the place? they must lie there. go

give me the daggers! the sleeping and the dead are but as pictures...

i have done the deed. didst thou not hear a noise?

ill go no more. i am afraid to think what i have done; look on't again i dare not.

my hands are of your colour, a little water clears us of this deed.

knock knock

then the knocking was heard again. it was loud and urgent. husband and wife stared at one another-and fled.

murder and treason!

macbeth led the gread thane of fife, who had come to rouse the king, to where the king was laying

the castle rocked as the news was quickly spread

wherefore did you so?

no man.

who can be wise, amazed, temperate and furious, loyal and neutral in a moment?

where we are, there's daggers in men's smiles

therefore to horse, and let us not be dainty of leave-taking but shift away!

the king's two sons looked fearfully to one another. their father had been murdered. would they be next?

they fled the castle, and from scotland itself, leaving behind the dead king, the crown-and macbeth.

he had seized the crown and mounted the throne. he was king and none dared oppose him.

a servant approached, bringing in two strange, muffled-looking men. they were prepared to take their revenge upon the world-and on banquo.

they talked together and soon the matter was settled between them.
