The Goat and her Three Kids #3

By Ion Creanga

After they arrived, she put the table on the rug and sat him on a chair made of wax, which was melting under the heat of the pit.

Suddenly, BOOM, the chair melted altogether and the wolf fell on the embers, and the fire was started.

Crying now, he begged the mother goat to get him out. But she had no sorrow of him, for he had eaten her kids.

When the town heard what had happened to the wolf, they were very happy. They gathered together and celebrated.

And there was a huge fiest. I was one of the guests that was invited there, and I eventaully came to tell you this story.

What? The story i know was that the mother found the wolf sleeping and saw the kids were alive inside the wolf's stomach, so she cut open it so they could jump out, then she filled his stomach with rocks, and when the wolf awoke he went to the well to drink, and then the rocks pulled him down so he drowned

I know that there are other versions of this story, but I focused only on the Romanian folktale! :)

Meanwhile, the wolf and the two kids were cooked into a stew and served to the town. The End.

That's so sad. So the kids are digested. :( Oh well their fault. Nice story you put together in a comic. I heard another version where the mother cut open the wolf's stomach open and got the kids out. She then filled the stomach with rocks so the wolf die or something.
